Situated in the heart of Choteau, Montana, Copper Creek Coffee is much more than your typical coffee stop—it’s a beloved local breakfast and lunch destination that masterfully blends comforting flavors with a warm, inviting atmosphere. As a coffee shop, breakfast restaurant, deli, donut shop, and lunch spot all rolled into one, Copper Creek Coffee serves up an exquisite variety of handcrafted meals and beverages that cater to both locals and travelers seeking a satisfying meal paired with exceptional coffee.
The kitchen here shines brightest in the morning with their hearty Country Style Breakfast Burrito, a richly satisfying combination of sausage gravy, fluffy scrambled eggs, golden country potatoes, and melted cheese, wrapped together in a warm tortilla that promises to start your day with pure comfort. For those who prefer lighter, customizable fare, the breakfast sandwiches are a delight—perfectly toasted English muffins or your choice of bagels layered with egg, American cheese, and your pick of bacon, sausage, or ham offer a nostalgic yet elevated start to any morning.
When it comes to lunch, Copper Creek Coffee continues to impress with a creative twist on classic deli staples. The TBJ (Turkey, Bacon, Cream Cheese, Jalapeño Raspberry Jam, and Sprouts on a buttery croissant) marries savory and sweet in a way that both surprises and satisfies. Their Monte Cristo Sandwich is a beautifully balanced work of art—select from ham or turkey on white bread, dipped in egg wash, fried to a golden crisp, dusted with powdered sugar, and served with that addictively tangy jalapeño raspberry jam alongside crunchy chips. Meanwhile, the California BLT elevates the traditional sandwich with fresh turkey, bacon, ripe tomato, crisp lettuce, creamy mayo, and velvety guacamole nestled inside a flaky croissant—a fresh, indulgent bite every time.
Coupled with a robust coffee menu that consistently receives praise—whether it's a cold brew that smooths the edge of a busy day or a mocha with just the right balance of sweetness and cocoa—Copper Creek Coffee keeps patrons coming back. Customers often mention the genuine friendliness of the staff, adding a personal touch that makes every visit a pleasure. One guest described the quick and fresh-to-order service as the perfect pit stop on a road trip, where both the food and coffee soothe and energize.
The atmosphere at Copper Creek is lively yet welcoming, with a popular spot outdoors featuring a picnic table to bask in the Montana sunshine while enjoying your meal. The combination of fresh pastries, gluten-free options, and quality local products—from teas and kitchen towels to specialty coffees—cements Copper Creek Coffee not only as a culinary delight but also as a community hub supporting local artisans.
Whether you’re swinging by for a quick coffee and donut or settling in for a satisfying breakfast or lunch, Copper Creek Coffee offers a genuinely comforting Montana experience. Each bite and sip conveys care, flavor, and that unmistakable feeling of a hometown favorite you can trust and cherish.
Great place to stop in if you’re passing through Choteau. We had a cold brew, mocha, chicken wrap and the southwest chicken panini, and everything was so good! It was made to order and fast, and the staff were super friendly.
Copper Creek recently opened another location in my hometown of Fairfield, MT. Today I had a Chicken Burrito and it was AMAZING! Their coffees are wonderful and they also have items from sellers around the area such as kitchen towels, teas and coffees, etc... Never had a bad coffee or food item! A must for all your meal and caffeine needs! Great job, guys and thanks for coming to our town!
A wonderful stop, on our way from Yellowstone to Glacier. Really friendly staff, great coffee, fresh pastries, nice breakfast and lunch options, including toast, bagels, eggs Benedict, some gluten free options.. also a picnic table at the back if you prefer to sit out in the sun. Wonderful!
